Ordering Information

Please note - all of our locomotive and coach kits are now basically pre-formed, where appropriate. This normally includes rolling the body shell but does not include the final shaping of tumblehomes etc which need to be completed during construction of the kit

All of our Locomotive kits are supplied with everything required to make the kit with the exclusion of wheels/motors & gears.

When ordering please specify if you would like the;
Basic Kit; Price includes the kit excluding motors, gears, Delrin drive and wheels Excludes paint and transfers
Full Kit; Price includes, 1 x motors, 1 x gears, 2 x Delrin Drive and wheels. Excludes paint and transfers

Please note that we don't always carry items in stock and some items can take up to 6 weeks to get into stock. we allow pre-ordering for collection at shows so please be mindful of this.

How to Order?

• Order via our online shop - If something is missing that you require, please send us a contact us form;
• Please ensure you provide your email address in the contact us form​​
• We'll respond in a timely manner to arrange payment
• We accept most major credit cards or you can send a cheque with your order. Cheques payable to PR Model Railway Products
• ​Card transactions are processed when we have the item ready to send, cheques will be cleared prior to the item being dispatched which typically takes 7 days. If the cheque order is for an item not normally stocked then the cheque will be processed sooner.
• ​Special orders may attract a deposit to secure the order.

Sound files & ESU Returns Policy

Decoder reblows via Digital Download or at shows

• When ordering a Digital Download sound file, please ensure when placing your order that the correct ESU Decoder ID is supplied. If this is incorrectly supplied once your file has been issued you are no longer eligible for a refund
• Digital download sound files are provided to a locked ESU Decoder ID. Once this has been issued you are responsible for this file. If you loose this file we will only re-issue the same file under the same Decoder ID. You cannot swap it to a different decoder or different sound file
• Digital download sound files are none-transferrable (Unless decoder is purchased from us and deemed faulty, we will issue the replacement decoder with the sound file re-loaded to it)
• No refund will be given once the files have been issued to your email address supplied.
• If you have had a loco reblow at an exhibition, you are not entitled to a reblow if the chip is deemed faulty / replaced from another retailer
• We cannot be held responsible for the failure of decoders when loading files onto during any

ESU products come with a 2-year manufacturer warranty from the date of purchase by the original end-user. This guarantees the item against design, production, material, or transport faults. 

Key Terms and Conditions

• Original Owner: The warranty only applies to the original purchaser of the product. Items bought secondhand or factory pre-installed must be handled by the original locomotive manufacturer or your retailer.
• What is  Covered: Free repair or replacement (at ESU's discretion) of faulty parts.
• What is Voided: The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, physical modification, conversions with unapproved parts, inappropriate use, or damage caused by failing to follow the user manual.

Returning a decoder?
When returning a decoder to PRMRP we reserve the right to refuse to replace if we suspect tampering / damage & any signs of wear / tear with the decoder that would void the original warranty. We will require proof of purchase upon returning items, and will only issue a new item out once the return has been approved by our ESU supplier.

• ​​Wagon Kits -  £12.00 (Uninsured)
• ​ Spares  - £6.00
• Sound Decoders & ESU Accessories - £6.00
• Collection from a show we're attending - Free
• We will endeavour to get all kits out the day after ordering, however this will not always be possible and we will advise you when you order, when you kit will be despatched - This is due to us carrying limited stock of each item
